Bluefield University and GigaBeam Announce Tuition Discount Program

Bluefield, VA – A university in Southwest Virginia and an internet provider announced a partnership Friday which will help make tuition more affordable for students choosing to take their classes online rather than the traditional classroom.

Bluefield University and GigaBeam Networks LLC made a joint announcement on the university’s campus about the new scholarship opportunity which will become available when the spring semester begins.

GigaBeam customers will be able to attend Bluefield University and get an additional scholarship because of that affiliation, said Dr. Steve Peterson, president of Bluefield University.
